Apply Now for the Clinical Quality Track of Leadership College

Now in its second year, the Clinical Quality program of the North Carolina Medical Society Foundation’s Leadership College is built around the following core components:

  • Clinical Quality Improvement
  • Leadership and team based care
  • Culture of safety and change

The Clinical Quality Track will allow a team of up to three members, a physician and up to two additional team members, to participate in intensive clinical quality training that allows teams to contribute to excellence in health care quality within their practice setting (small or large physician practice, hospital, health system). Team members may include additional physicians, physician assistants, nurses, social workers, administrators and other health care professionals. The curriculum is based on a combination of webinars and on-site sessions, held at the NCMS headquarters in Raleigh.  The tuition for Clinical Quality is $4,600.00 per team and includes all course material and some meals. The tuition does not include travel, lodging and additional meals.

The program will kick off in November 2014 until November 2015. In order to put acquired skills into action, learning is project-based.

 

The deadline to apply for the opportunity to be part of the 2015 Clinical Quality program is October 5 (Note: this has been extended from the original deadline of September 30.
