Legislative Advocacy Days let you learn more about the ins and outs of government affairs and how best to approach your legislator regarding health-care issues. Before going to the Legislative Building and meeting one-on-one with your legislator, you will be briefed on the most effective way to give your message and updated on the current hot-button medical and patient issues at the General Assembly.
Pick a day to organize a group — such as other physicians from your community or your specialty colleagues from around the state — to participate together. The 2010 Short Session of the General Assembly starts May 12, 2010.
