AMA Letter Targets Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) Provision of HR 3590

This week, the AMA released a letter sent to Speaker Nancy Pelosi of the US House of Representatives expressing opposition to the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) provision in HR 3590. If enacted, physicians would be subject to “two separate expenditure targets.”
