Congress has adjourned for a two-week spring recess without taking action to stop the 21.3% cut to Medicare physician payments. This means that this cut takes effect today, April 1, 2010.
Humana’s 2006 Settlement Agreement with thousands of physicians officially terminated on October 19, 2009. Nonetheless, Humana has voluntarily agreed to continue to follow many of the key terms from the Settlement Agreement.
