Health care professionals who need to file for hardship exemption for the 2013 Electronic Prescribing (eRx) payment adjustment may do so until Saturday June 30, 2012. Requests must be submitted to CMS’ Quality Reporting Communication Support Page.

Guidance on requesting a hardship exemption is available through the Quality Support Page User Manual. Members can also refer to the NCMS Health Information Technology (HIT) Resource Center or contact Terri Gonzalez, NCMS Foundation Practice Technical Assistance Coordinator, at 800-722-1350 or [email protected].
