On July 3, 2014, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a proposed rule to update payment policies and rates for services furnished under the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) beginning Jan. 1, 2015.

The proposed rule will be published in the Federal Register on July 11, 2014. CMS will accept comments on the proposed rule until Sept. 2, 2014.
