The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) has accredited the East Carolina Endoscopy Center (ECEC) in Greenville. The center is a joint venture of Pitt County Memorial Hospital and the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Opened in January 2009, the center is a state-of-the-art, fully accredited ambulatory surgery center that provides evaluation, treatment and management of digestive system disorders.
