The NCMS reminds physicians and their practices that they have until Tuesday, November 1, 2011 to request a significant hardship exemption under the 2011 Medicare Electronic Prescribing (eRx) Incentive Program Final Rule. Practices are required to submit 25 electronic prescriptions for the CMS eRx incentive.

Group practices selected for and participating in the GPRO I or II reporting wishing to submit an exemption request for the 2012 payment adjustment should submit a letter to:
