GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) recently announced the winners of its annual GlaxoSmithKline IMPACT Awards, which went to 12 health care non-profit organizations in North Carolina and the Philadelphia-area. Each received $40,000 in grant funding for providing access to health care for the underserved in their communities. IMPACT stands for Innovation, Management, Partnership, Achievement, Community focus and Targeting needs of diverse and underserved populations.
