Five partner organizations this week released an updated 2011 edition of A Clinician’s Guide to Electronic Prescribing . The how-to guide helps physicians and practice staff in transitioning from paper to electronic e-prescribing systems. The guide is a collaboration involving the American Medical Association (AMA), American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), American College of Physicians (ACP), Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), e-Health Initiative (e-HI), and Center for Improving Medication Management.
