Jennifer Anderson will serve as NCHICA’s new Executive Director beginning on November 3, 2014. She will succeed Holt Anderson, who is retiring on October 31 after 19 years of service. He will remain active going forward, serving as a member of the NCHICA Board of Directors.

Anderson (no relation to Holt) brings a wealth of health care experience to NCHICA, including nine years with the Carolinas Center for Medical Excellence, seven years with Siemens Medical Solutions Health Services Corporation, and recently gained experience in the inpatient / hospital sector with Tenet Healthcare in South Carolina. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and is a certified Project Management Professional.

“Jennifer has been a collaborator in statewide efforts in both North and South Carolina to expand the use of health information technology, most notably the Regional Extension Center programs and South Carolina Health Information Exchange,” said Clyde Hewitt, NCHICA President. “We look forward to NCHICA’s future growth and success under Jennifer’s leadership.”
