Registration is open for the Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina 2014 Provider Summit to be held October 30, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Raleigh. The program is designed to foster a purposeful dialogue about health care in North Carolina.


 

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will hold a National Provider Call on November 5 from 1:30-3 p.m. to answer questions about ICD-10 implementation. Learn more and register. Bear in mind much of this information is specific to Medicare.

Eleventh One Medicine Symposium to be held in Durham, NC on December 10-11, 2014. The theme this year is “Disasters and Diseases: A One Medicine Approach to Current Challenges.” Learn more about this national symposium, which aims to promote collaboration across professional disciplines and enhance preparedness for natural or man-made disasters, infectious disease outbreaks, and other challenges affecting human and animal health. Registration is open and the fee is $100.


Save the date — June 12, 2015, for Go SIMple, an opportunity to learn about the hottest trends in simulation education from experts. The training session will be held at Campbell University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lillington, NC.
