In an earlier edition of the Bulletin, the NCMS announced that the North Carolina Medicaid Incentive Payment System (NC-MIPS) Portal would go live in June. The date is now pushed back to July 23, 2012 for Adopt, Implement and Upgrade (AIU) attestation and August 20, 2012 for Meaningful Use (MU) attestation. The delay is a result of personnel issues and a large amount of feedback provided by Portal users. The DMA Health Information Technology team hopes to launch an error-free portal as soon as possible. The NCMS will provide updates to its members as they occur.
