The North Carolina Medical Board (NCMB) is hiring an Assistant Medical Director. This position is responsible for assisting the Medical Board staff, the Medical Director, and the Board in investigating, reviewing, and providing detailed written reports on a wide range of matters that involve quality of care, ethical and professionalism concerns and making recommendations to the Board regarding those matters.

Qualified applicants must possess a Medical (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree and a current ABMS or AOA board certification. A minimum of 15 years recent clinical patient care experience, with a minimum of five years recent clinical patient care in North Carolina is required.
