The NC Medical Society is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Kanof, MD, is this year’s recipient for the 2012 AMA Young Physicians Section (AMA-YPS) Young at Heart Award. Dr. Kanof will be recognized at the 2012 AMA-YPS Assembly meeting on June 15, 2012, in Chicago, for her continued support and dedication toward the development and strengthening of AMA-YPS.

Dr. Kanof served as NCMS president from 1993-1994 and currently serves as a NCMS Foundation trustee. She is a founder of the NCMS Leadership College and serves as its co-chair.  Congratulations, Dr. Kanof, for this well-deserved award!
