The Governor’s office recently announced new and continuing members on four state boards that regulate trades and licensed practitioners. Girish Munavalli, MD, of Charlotte, a North Carolina Dermatology Association member, was reappointed to another 3-year term on the Board of Electrolysis Examiners. The NCDA supported his nomination. This board is charged with protecting consumers’ interests with respect to choice and differences of hair removal through mandatory continuing education, inspection of each office and each practitioner.
