Four North Carolina groups have received $3 million in federal grants to train insurance navigators who will assist residents with insurance subsidies, premiums and other issues under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
The largest grant, $2 million, was given to Raleigh-based NC Community Care Networks with smaller grants being awarded to the Alcohol/Drug Council of North Carolina, out of Durham, Mountain Projects in Sylva and Randolph Hospital in Asheboro.
