The North Carolina Medical Board (NCMB) has released a Physician’s Guide to Statutory Exceptions to the Duty of Confidentiality, which catalogues public health and criminal reporting requirements and includes directions for submitting these reports. NCMB anticipates that the reporting guide will be updated annually.
