PEER Portal Helps to Address E-Prescription Issues

Physicians and other health care professionals who’ve encountered errors or other issues with E-Prescriptions can report problems through the PEER Portal, the Pharmacy and Provider E-Prescribing Experience Reporting Portal at https://www.pqc.net/eprescribe. The Portal is free of charge to health care providers and is designed to gather detailed, actionable data about issues that have been encountered with electronic prescriptions. The NC Association of Pharmacists (NCAP) is working with the Alliance for Patient Medication Safety (APMS) to use the data to make industry-wide process improvements in E-Prescribing and address recurring problems. The program is funded through a grant from the Community Pharmacy Foundation.
