Physicians Foundation Grant Trains Leadership College Faculty at Center for Creative Leadership

With grant funding from the Physicians Foundation, the NCMS Foundation’s Leadership College launched its program of training Leadership Faculty on February 26th-27th at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL®) in Greensboro, NC. Leadership College alumni participated in CCL®‘s two-day Coaching Skills Development Program and included discussion on learning types, coaching for effectiveness, intention and impact, listening and setting goals.

Leadership College alumni (see photo online): Robert L. Hollingsworth, PA-C, DHSC of Red Springs, Douglas K. Holmes, MD of Raleigh, Michelle F. Jones, FAAFP, MD of Hampstead, Susan R. Mims, MD, MPH of Asheville and Lawrence R. Wu, MD of Cary were joined by NCMS CEO, Robert Seligson, Foundation Associate Executive Director, Maggie Sauer and Program Coordinator, Lisa Harrison. The five physicians who underwent this comprehensive training will go on to serve as faculty of the Leadership College program, which cultivates physician leaders in North Carolina.
