Charles Almond, MD, Neill Musselwhite, MD and J. William Eakins, MD, celebrated their North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS) Life Membership awards with their families and friends at the September 17 New Hanover-Pender County Medical Society event. Drs. Almond and Musselwhite waited a year to receive their Life Award so that Dr. Eakins would be eligible and they could claim them together as “The Big Three.” On the left is the New Hanover-Pender County Medical Society 2014 President, James McCabe, MD.  Bert Bridger, MD, far right, did the official presentations of the three awards. The three new NCMS life members all practice at New Hanover Medical Group, which is the largest primary care-only group in the area.
