UHS Expands Services in Rural Duplin County

University Health Systems of Eastern North Carolina broke ground Thursday on a new UHS Physicians medical office building in Wallace in Duplin County. The 8,500 square foot clinic will house 12 examination rooms, and will include imaging, diagnostic and lab, and physical therapy services. Physicians Mott P. Blair, MD, (Wallace Family Medicine) and Gary S. Crawford, MD, (Trinity Family Medicine) will be moving their practice into the new building.

“We are actively recruiting another physician to practice in this building,” said Travis Douglas, executive vice president and director, UHS Physicians. “We also hope to have specialists rotate through the office a few days each week.”
