Kelsey Tsipis, a junior attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) and majoring in journalism and mass communication, recently received a scholarship of $500 from the NCMS, which included spending a week at the NCMS completing a journalism/communication internship. The scholarship was awarded to a student with an interest in health journalism.

This week, Kelsey assisted NCMS staff by attending meetings and contributing articles to the NCMS Bulletin newsletter pertaining to current health care issues in managed care as well as the NCMS Leadership College. She also interviewed NCMS Vice President and CEO, Robert W. Seligson, on the Society’s wellness efforts.
