The North Carolina Health Information Exchange (NC HIE) will be hosting several sessions across North Carolina throughout the month of May to teach health care professionals about how NC HIE strives to implement the access, exchange and analysis of health information to improve the quality of care offered to patients. The sessions will provide an overview of NC HIE and will discuss its mission, structure and available data exchange solutions that facilitate patient centered care, clinical quality improvement and care coordination.
