The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Communicable Disease Branch issued updated guidance last week for North Carolina health care providers and laboratories regarding Ebola. The new information includes updated definitions of high-risk and low-risk exposures; updated laboratory guidance; updated infection prevention guidance from CDC; and information about assessment and monitoring of persons with Ebola exposure.
