Want to Learn More about Trends in Primary Care?

Attention internists, primary care doctors, residents and medical school students. The Translational Science Institute’s Program in Community Engagement and Implementation, affiliated with Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, will be holding a meeting on Monday, March 19, 2012, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm, at Piedmont Plaza One (Kitty Hawk Room, 1st floor), Winston Salem, to discuss the emerging trends in primary care. Registration is free and refreshments will be provided.

The meeting will focus on Patient-Centered Medical Home, Direct Pay Model of Practice and National Committee for Quality Assurance. NCMS members Brian Forrest, MD, Founder of Access Healthcare and Adjunct Associate Professor at UNC Chapel Hill and Richard W. Lord, MD, Family & Community Medicine Associate Professor at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center; as well as James L. Wofford, MD, General Internal Medicine Associate Professor at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center will be speaking at the event.
