In May, members of the General Assembly will return to Raleigh to convene for the legislative session. Through White Coat Wednesday (WCW), clinicians are connected with their elected officials for relationship building and advocacy.
WCW starts with breakfast and an issue briefing from members of the NCMS’ Government Affairs team. Then, WCW participants walk one block to the Legislative Complex, where they meet with legislators to discuss the issues effecting physicians and their practices.
Legislators want to hear your perspective on health-related issues. Participating in White Coat Wednesday is a pro-active, effective way to get involved in the legislative process.
