NC Attorney General Wants Your Feedback on the Controlled Substances Reporting System

The NC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) implemented the Controlled Substances Reporting System (CSRS) to monitor outpatient dispensing of prescription controlled substances on a statewide basis. The CSRS is intended to improve the state’s ability to identify people who abuse and misuse prescription drugs classified as Schedule II-V controlled substances and to assist clinicians in identifying and referring for treatment patients misusing controlled substances. Please participate in this short survey to help improve the system and increase physician participation. Take the survey at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CSRSsurvey.

The reporting system has allowed clinics to STOP giving medications to patients that are hurting our community. I hope all pharmacies participate.

very effective, if pharmacies participate. Pharmacies should be REQUIRED to participate.

  • Love it! Very convenient. It would be nice to have the “until” space be Today, unless changed by the requester.
