I haven’t received any Medicaid crossover payments since June. Medicaid is still not accepting the Medicare crossovers.

Before you can even attempt to get a provider credentialed you have to take at least five online tests through a consulting group (PCG) before your application can even be considered and if you don’t take it in the time allowed you have to start all over again. If you already have providers and groups covered with Medicaid under your tax ID why should you have to take tests to see if you know what Medicaid is all about????
I am like most of the providers across the state. I have yet to see a CORRECT secondary payment since before July 1st and what happened to the
previous easy-to-read RA’s? You have primary payments-that have the wrong copays applied,secondaries-that are paid wrong,
denials all mixed in between with the most inaccurate denial codes, and then the one that tops the cake is the capitation fees are listed as a line item on the claim for each member??? Really!!!
As each day passes more providers are saying, “no more!” Watch for continued notices coming from the provider community that read: “Effective January 1 (if they make it that long) we will no longer accept N C Medicaid in this office” Now who can we say is responsible for this statement?

We too find NCtracks a big problem. It was put in use way before it was ready.
We have had our preauthorizations for patient tests in suspended file for weeks. Meanwhile the patient suffers.
I need our Medicaid audit summary report for our rural health cost report and was told my reference number would be sent to The finance dept but they are not set up yet, so that also will take weeks.
We are actually getting paid for our patient visits, unlike many offices, but only due to our biller’s persistence and days of extra work.

NC Tracks has been an absolute nightmare.
I have spent endless hours trying to credential our doctors on-line at the provider portal only to get ready to submit application and be rejected. I have made numerous calls to customer service ( who by the way have all been very nice) but these people cannot help you. Everything is an IT
issue so a ticket is sent to IT. I am certain that the IT team is very overwhelmed with so many problems, but no one ever calls back or sends email regarding these ticket submissions. Currently I think we have about
5 or more tickets pending and this has been since August. We have hundreds of pages of RA that we are having to manuelly post our denials causing great back-logs. Please re-evaluate
the application process because this is creating a major problem with our office.
We are trying to comply but being unable to process anything and then having to re-submit
multiple times is getting very frustrating.
