I thank you once again for your update. I live in Ahoskie , N.C. And own Ahoskie Pediatrics. We haven’t been financially stable in the last three years. We spent to have our EMR system on board, but after a long process of failures on the companies part to make our EHR workable ( I have a Peds certified NP named Gretchen Simons who championed our entry intro into EMR use, spending numberless hours trying to get what we needed to practice Peds to the highest standards. We attested in a timely fashion, but did not start getting reimbursements until 2014…..too little, too late. We have lots of bills, with higher costs and never enough to go around. I never dreamed my practice might end as it started here 24yrs ago…..with financial lacks that we were able to overcome. We serve in a rural area, four counties: Hertford, Bertie, Gates and Northamton. Please let us not be forgotten again. Thank you, Beverly Edwards,M.D.
